
Cat Young is a Las Vegas-based makeup artist with nearly a decade of experience working across film, commercial, and fashion. Her work is rooted in character development, continuity, and creating camera-ready looks that hold up under production conditions.
Cat began her career in 2014 with the UNLV film program where she fell in love with creating and the world of film. In 2017 she decided to refine her technical training at the L Makeup Institute in Las Vegas, NV. She has department headed on independent features including Herd and Deathclub, bringing a strong understanding of set workflow, collaboration, and the demands of the fast past work environments that come along with the industry.
Alongside her film work, she has contributed to large-scale productions and brand campaigns, including makeup work with VogueWorld and designing makeup campaigns for Away and OLIPOP. Her client portfolio includes Adobe, Tesla, MGM, Toyota, and Altar’d State, as well as talent such as Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Travis Scott, and Derek Carr.
Known for her dependability on set and her ability to deliver polished, production ready results from creative direction, Cat is dedicated to furthering her career in film and fashion, collaborating with directors and creative teams to create cohesive, story driven looks, driven by her passion for storytelling.
